BaT Auction: 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider 2000
This 1973 Alfa Romeo Spider was restored by a previous owner and has recently been refurbished by the selling dealer. Power comes from a 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-four paired with a 5-speed manual, and servicing in 2018 included replacing the starter, valve cover gasket, inner tie rods, drive shaft support, battery and more. Recent brake refurbishing included replacing the master cylinder and installing new calipers, pads, and lines at all four corners. Finished in red with a black interior and a matching top, the car is stock aside from Panasport wheels. Included in the sale are older records, photos of the restoration work, and past show awards. This 105-series Spider is now sold by a dealer in Atlanta, Georgia with a clean Georgia title.
The interior is upholstered in black with a wood-rimmed steering wheel and black shift knob, and the seller notes a new flasher relay installed in 2018. The odometer shows 28,378 miles.
Additional photos in the gallery show the door jambs, seating surfaces, dash, and gauges, with no deviations from stock specs noted.
