This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet shows 57k miles and is equipped with a 3.6-liter flat-six and 6-speed manual transaxle. Sold new by Negherbon Porsche in Oakland, California, the car was recently re-acquired by the selling dealer from the fourth owner, who purchased the car in 2013. Modifications include an aftermarket stereo unit, M030 ROW suspension, and 18″ Turbo Twist wheels fitted within the last 2k miles with new Michelin tires. Service is reportedly up to date, and included records date back to new. This 993 Cabrio is sold with its original radio unit, books and manuals, original window sticker, a clean Carfax, and a clear Pennsylvania title.
The exterior is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic with a black convertible soft top, pictured in its raised position above and shown from multiple angles in the gallery below. No history of accidents or other damage is displayed on the Carfax report. A complete exterior walk-around is featured in the video clip below.
A Porsche M0303 suspension kit has been added along with 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, which wear newer Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires mounted and balanced within the past 2k miles.
The cabin is trimmed in black partial leather with a matching dash pad, carpets, and door panels. The factory cassette player has been replaced with a modern Alpine head unit, though the original is included in the sale. Instrumentation, equipment, and accessories are reported to remain in working order. The odometer presently shows 57,711 miles.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was rated at 270 horsepower at 6,100 rpm with 243 lb-ft of torque at 5,000 rpm when new and is paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle. Service records are reported to be complete and date from new, and the seller notes a 60k-mile service completed in October 2017 that included the installation of new valve cover gaskets.
Cold start and driving demonstrations can be viewed in the video clips above.
The undercarriage is pictured in several additional photos in the gallery below.
The original window sticker shows an MSRP of $78,330 as well as factory options.
The Carfax shows no history of accidents or prior damage, and provides nine additional service records.
