BaT Auction: 21K-Mile 2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon
This 2013 Mercedes-Benz E63 Wagon has just 21k miles and is powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 sending power to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. Sold new in California, the car came to Georgia in 2014 and has resided with the seller in Kentucky since 2016. The seller reports that an ECU tune was added prior to his ownership, and recent maintenance included two new tires and an alignment in 2017. A dealer inspection service was performed in preparation for sale, and this E63 is now being offered with a clean Carfax, one year remaining on a transferable Mercedes-Benz CPO warranty, and a clean Kentucky title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in black with chrome and brushed stainless trim. The 10-spoke alloy wheels measure 19″ in diameter, and two of the Continental Sport Contact tires were replaced in 2017. The quad-tip exhaust carries AMG badging.
No history of accidents or other damage is noted on the Carfax, and the car retains stock AMG badging. The valences and rocker extensions are specific to the AMG E-Class.
The cabin is finished in black, with dark wood veneers on the dash, center stack, and doors. The front seats are climatized, and equipment includes a dual-pane glass moonroof, multi-zone automatic climate control, adaptive cruise control, and retractable screens for the rear doors and cargo area. The heat, A/C and interior power features are said to work correctly.
Note the machined aluminum paddles for the 7-speed automatic transmission. Instrumentation includes an analog speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, clock, and a digital multi-function display. 21k miles are shown on the digital odometer, roughly 7k of which were added by the seller.
The rear cargo area is covered by a hinged cargo cover, and the carpets are protected by a black rubberized floor mat.
The twin-turbocharged 5.5L V8 sends power to the rear wheels via a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and an AMG locking differential. The engine was factory-rated at 518 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque, though the seller notes that the aftermarket ECU tune increases output. Dealer services are documented on an attached VMI report, including a new battery in 2018, transmission fluid service and new tires in 2017, and fresh brake fluid, air filters, transmission filter and more during the car’s CPO services in 2016.
The Carfax shows history in California, Georgia, and Kentucky from new, with regular mileage and service updates since 2013. No accidents or other issues are noted.
