Rear-Wheel Drive Lamborghini Murcielago Lights Up Its Tires With Ease

The Murcielago used to be the pinnacle of the Lamborghini brand last decade. Just a little over 4,000 units rolled off the assembly lines from 2001 until 2010, when it was replaced by the Aventador.

Even though it’s outdated now, the Murcielago is still drawing attention thanks, mostly, to its looks and loud, naturally aspirated V12 engine.

Even in this kind of supercars, though, some opt to go down the tuning road rather than keep them in original condition. And this particular Murcielago is a prime example of that.

Brought forward by ADV.1 Wheels, it rides on a pair of new rims, 8.5×19 and 13×20-inch in size, front and rear respectively, from the (now discontinued) Deep Concave CS Series. They have a Matte Black and Gloss Black combo, the 50/50 exposed titanium hardware option and are shod with Pirelli tires.

The most impressive tune isn’t visible, though, as this Murcielago was converted from all- to rear-wheel drive. It’s also equipped with a straight-piped exhaust system that provides it with an even deeper tone under heavy acceleration.

The cherry on top of the cake is definitely the six-speed manual transmission, which is no longer offered in modern Lamborghinis. But you can witness all of these goodies coming together to create a truly special supercar in the video that follows.
