Yesterday’s comments of note

A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:

sludgo's Mile Markers: Mile 5

“Hi Everyone, and sincere thanks again for the responses to the column. Hearing all the memories echoing back is a very cool and unexpected outcome for this project and I hope it continues.

Insofar as having a stereotype or two in my world, I actually have many, so be prepared to hear about more of them I guess. However, I never set out to offend and apologize in advance for any offense I may cause by my blatherings. Honestly, I’m just having fun doing this and want everyone else to have…”

1983 Renault R5 Turbo 2

“You guys can fight over that LaFerrari, I will take this Le Car. Thank you very much.”

1979 Porsche 911SC Safari

“I never liked calling it a rally car. For that matter it’s also not an off-road car. (unless you blow corner ) I prefer it be called an Enduro. What are other car can look good when it’s dirty they even had me bring it…”

1984 Einar Glasius Hydroplane

“I’ve never had so much want and so little need.”

No Reserve: 1994 BMW 850CSi 6-Speed

“Long live the V12 cars with three pedals!”
