Design Cut Build Creates a Bad Little Hitch Wagon: Video
Hitchin’ a ride
by Jonathan Lopez, on
The third season of Design Cut Build is in full swing, and as you might expect, Aaron and Iggy are once again making all kinds of impressive fabricated creations. The latest is a custom metal wagon that can link up with the trailer hitch of Chad’s SUV, so it’s straight to the drawing board to piece this thing together from scratch.
After laying it out in marker, the boys start by building the hitch tongue, followed by fabricating a straight rectangular wagon frame. Then they put together the endplates and mesh sides, and by then, the project really starts to look good.
At first, it might look like a pretty straightforward project, but like anything you build out of raw metal, you gotta take it step by step. Luckily, that’s exactly what the Design Cut Build is good at.
