BaT Auction: 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL

This 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is finished in Astral Silver Metallic with a blue soft top over a blue leather interior and shows 120k miles. The car was purchased new in Florida and moved to New York in 1997, where it has been registered since. Power is from a 5.6-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Maintenance records are said to date from new and cover a transmission rebuild in 2010 at 118k miles as well as new timing chain guides and engine mounts installed in July 2018. This R107 is offered with a color-matched factory hard top, original window sticker and bill of sale, factory literature, a Carfax, and a clean New York title.

The body is finished in Astral Silver Metallic, and the Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. A correct blue replacement soft top was installed in 2010, which is detailed in the 160+ photo gallery below along with the silver-painted hard top.
