This 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible is customized example that has been refurbished in a pearlescent orange over a black and tan interior. Power is provided by a 1,915cc flat-four equipped with dual carburetors and mated to a 4-speed “freeway flyer” gearbox. Other modifications include shaved door handles and bumpers, a removed top, American Racing wheels, SCAT low-back seats, a custom stereo system, 4-wheel disc brakes, and Dynomax exhaust. This Karmann Ghia is now being offered by the selling dealer with a clean Florida title.

The body has been refinished with candy orange paint, and the bumpers, door handles, and fuel tank filler have been shaved and filled. The top has also been removed, and the paintwork is shown from multiple angles in the gallery below. Nerf bars are mounted up front and the exhaust system can be seen above.

CB Performance disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, as are KYB shock absorbers. Chromed American Racing 5-spoke wheels are mounted with Nitto NT 450 Extreme Performance tires.

The interior has been refurbished with black SCAT low-back seats and matching carpets, which are contrasted by tan door panels. A Grant steering wheel is fitted along with AutoMeter gauges, including a digital odometer which reportedly shows approximately 16k miles.

An Alpine stereo with DVD player is wired to two Kicker amplifiers, Focal component speakers, and two 12″ JL Audio subwoofers mounted behind the rear seat. The front storage compartment has been insulated with sound-dampening material.

The 1,915cc flat-four has reportedly been rebuilt and is fitted with dual Weber carburetors. The selling dealer states that a custom wiring harness has been installed, and a tachometer is mounted in the the refinished engine compartment.
