Yesterday’s comments of note
A few of the comments that stood out to us yesterday:
“One mid-80s summer my dad bought a new rear engine riding lawn mower. As a 12-year-old gearhead, a plan naturally developed. After dad left for work the next day I started stripping his old mower of anything unnecessary. Mower deck gone, seat dropped to the frame. I rode my Schwinn Stingray to a Wheel Horse dealer in town and swapped out the large transmission pully for a smaller one and a belt. By afternoon I had something, but it wasn’t fast. “This BAT community is a very nice bunch of folks that share a deep, mutual love of wonderful automobiles of all vintages and makes.
The support, appreciation and affection shared with Waggoner5 for his work and for this old Jeep sure was heartwarming.
I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a joyous holiday season with your families and loved ones.”
